WoW Warlock

Hey, MikemanX here,

If you’ve been playing World of Warcraft for any length of time, you’ll know how important it is to have a good build to level up with.  If you’re here searching for WoW Warlock info, that should be top on your list of things to do.

The only problem is when searching for a good WoW Warlock build, you come across dozens of them, and many people who claim that their build is the best, it can be extremely frustrating to separate the good from the bad!  I’ve gone through all that trouble though and found the optimal WoW Warlock build to use for leveling, I’ll be sharing that with you down below so you don’t have to go through the trouble yourself..

Now what you’re going to have to do is go heavy on the affliction, so start with something like:

5/5 Imp Corruption
2/2 Improved Drain Soul
2/2 Soul Siphon
1/2 Improved Life Tap
5/5 Fel Concentration
2/2 Grim Reach
2/2 Nightfall
2/2 Improved Life Tap
1/1 Siphon Life
1/1 Amplify Curse
3/3 Empowered Corruption
5/5 Shadow Mastery
1/1 Dark Pact
5/5 Contagion
2/2 Improved Howl of Terror
1/5 Shadow Embrace
1/1 Curse of Exhaustion
1/1 Unstable Affliction

From here on out, you’ll be level 52 and you can place your points pretty much wherever you’d like.  You may opt for Bane or Improved COA, it’s up to you.  Here though is what your attack rotation should look like:

1.     Send in your Voidwalker to attack
2.    Use Curse of Agony(COA)
3.    Use Corruption
4.    Use Siphon Life
5.    Use Drain Life
6.    IF you get a ‘Nightfall’ cast Shadowbolt to use it
7.    Replace DOTS as needed
8.    Lifetap if needed

That’s all there is to it.  Or so I thought…you see things weren’t going quite well for me after level 15…

I was just leveling WAY too slow!

I didn’t know why either, I mean, I had a pretty good WoW Warlock build going if I do say so myself, but it didn’t seem like it was enough.  So I asked a friend in my guild who’s into power leveling what he did.  He told me that he used a power leveling program called the Team iDemise Leveling guide and told me if I’m not using a program similar to that I’ll just be wasting my time.  Anyways, I decided to check it out.

What Is The Team iDemise Leveling Guide?

This guide first of all isn’t just some book, it’s actually an add-on that runs within the game.  What happens is it places a giant green arrow below your character which points you to new quests to take on, then objectives you need to get a hold of and finally where to go to cash in the quests.  It tells you when to do each action in order to level at the optimal rate, it’s pretty cool.

There’s also a written description of the quests which looks something like this:

Kill 10 Spore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (42,33)
Obtain 10 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (62,24)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok

When I began using this along with the WoW Warlock build above, I found that my leveling speed went up about 3-4x what it was previously…needless to say I was stoked.  There were some issues I had though..

CONS:

  • They used to give you an HTML version of the guide accessible online outside of the game.  They’ve since taken this down :/
  • They should give you more videos explaining how to do the hardest quests as well as more class specific leveling info.

PROS:

  • There is a big green arrow to follow in order to level up optimally, pretty simple.
  • You also have a mini-map overlay which shows you visually what you should be doing next, pretty handy along with the written description and the arrow.
  • This isn’t a hack or a cheat.
  • This is not just a WoW Warlock guide, you can use it for other classes.
  • There’s free updates to the software and access to a members only forum.
  • There’s a 60 day money back guarantee.

Final Thoughts:

If you’re struggling to level up at a decent rate or if you just want to power your way through the leveling process, you might want to check this out.

I’ve been using it for my other classes as well, each time I’ve gotten level 80 in 7-10 days, it’s pretty cool.  I definitely wouldn’t be playing as all these classes without this, I just wouldn’t have had the time.
